Remove flower heads from stem, keeping the short
hollow plastic stem. If there is a green plastic base
that can be removed, remove it, being sure you still
have a stem.
Arrange flowers w you want them to go
around.
Thread needle with elastic (length-- enough
to go around your head).
Tie a knot in the end of
the elastic. Now pierce the middle of the stem from
side to side and pull elastic through.
Every 3 flowers put a spacer, 1/2" long (you can make one by cutting a hollow stem from a leaf or use a plastic straw). String spacer through the hollow end.
When you have strung all the flowers, knot the two ends of the elastic together.
You are now ready to place it around your visor. You will be the hit of the golf course or beach.

Measure 9 inches from the bottom of the short edge of the fabric. Then measure 1 1/2 inches across this same edge. Now cut up to the 9" line making fringe.
Once you have cut the fringe, you will now knot each fringe, do not make too tight a knot.
Repeat on the other edge of the material..
You will get raves when you give these as gifts.

Ribbon & Fabric Covered Pots This makes 3 pots
Materials
Directions
Paint the outside of the pot gold.
Cut a rectangel 1 1/2" at the top, 5 1/2" long, to 1 1/14" at the bottom. You will need 6 of them. Also cut 3, 6X28" rectangles. All from the brocade.
Arrange the six sections evenly around the pot, holding in place with tape till ready to glue. Glue sections and glue gold trim on each side of each section.
Turn under 12" along the long edge of the rectangle and glue the edge to the wrong side. Glue rectangle over the lip of the pot aligning the bottom edge with the bottom of the lip. Glue the rectangles top edge inside the pot.
From Cording tie a knot to go in each sections ( with enough cord to hang down), you will have 7 knots. Glue one knot to the top center of each brocade section.
Gather a 36" length of ribbon by pulling the wire in each edge (twist wires together at the ends so they don't pull through). Glue the gathered ribbon to inside lip of the pot to hide the raw edges of the top brocade.
You can now fill the pots with pine cones, pointsettas, holly, and greens. They can stand up straight or be turned on their side.

Pour orange paint into jar and coat the inside of the jar..Now tip the jar upside down in an empty egg carton and let paint run out over night. Paint the pumpkin face on the out side of the jar with black paint pen.Fill the top with dried or silk flowers and tie raffia around the neck of the jar.
