SUPPLIES:
- 1" Wood ball knob
- Large silk flower (rose, carnation,etc)
- Thin gold cord
- 1" Wire ribbon (with gold)
- 1/2" lace with gold trim
- Paint (for face)
- Moss (for hair)
- Gold tinsel stem
- Glue
Paint the face on the wooden ball. While that is
drying...
Take the silk flower off the stem.
Put glue on the inside of the hole in the wooden ball
place the ball on the plastic piece that is sticking
up on the underside of the flower.
Cut a piece of lace 3" long and glue around where the
ball and flower meet (collar)
Make wings, by cutting ribbon 4" long. Find the
center and twist. Glue this to the back where the
ball and flower meet.
Glue small amount of moss for hair on the top of the
wooden ball.
Snip a 3" piece of tinsel stem and form a circle and
wrap ends around themselves. Glue halo to hair.
Cut a 6" piece of gold cord and glue each end to each
side of the wooden ball (this is the hanger)
Embellishing--You can now add gold paint to the edges
of the flower or glue small pearls or gems to the
petals.
