        BEADED CANDY CANES

          Materials

        • 24 gauge wire
        • round nosed pliers

          Directions

Cut either 4 or 6 pieces of wire into 7 1/2" lenghts. Using pliers, make a tiny loop at one end of each wire. Transfer the beads to the wires. Leave just enough room to loop the wire at one end, to prevent beads from slipping off.

The beads should be slightly loose on the wire. Make another small loop at the top of the wire to hold beads.

Once all the wires are beaded, shape them into a striped candy cane by holding wires together at one end and twisting them together.

Bend wires at the top into a gentle round. If some of the ends are uneven, adjust them by removing a few beads where necessary and shortening the wire.
