You can make the list inserts on the computer and insert any picture you like. The cover is covered with decorative paper or plain paper and using rubber stamps.

INSTUCTIONS FOR TAG CARDS

   

This is the outside cover and what the book looks like inside.

Fold a piece of card stock in half and then in half again on each side toward the middle. You now have an accordion. Cut the card stock in half, giving you two books.

Measure a piece of decorative paper about half the side of your book, using decorative scissors cut the top edge. Using glue or sticky tape adhere to each page, leaving the top open of your book.

For the cover of your book, cut color card stock the size of your book with a ¼ inch more add message and bow. Crease the ¼ inch and glue to the side of the front of your book.

Now add tags to the pockets on the inside and let the ribbon hang over the top.

   

Example of traditional tag and Victorian tags

Make your gift tags, cutting scrap paper, into a tag, on white card stock stamp your (to-from and a small decorative stamp) and adhere with glue to scrap paper. Punch hole in top and add ribbon or yarn.

This is a way to give cards you have made as a gift or to store your own cards.

What the inside of envelope is like.

This card is done by stamping one side of the card stock and cuting it out and then stamping the back side. Also using masking.

This is the inside of the card, after you fold in the two outside flaps.

CONTEST MOTHER'S DAY CARD

  • Hat stamp from the LL781 Fancy Hats-Hero Arts
  • White card stock
  • Printed vellum paper
  • Pop dots
  • Twist paper
  • Embossing powders
  • Embossing pen

    Hand rip the white card stock. Cut a piece of printed vellum paper with decorative scissors, a little smaller than the size of the card.
    On a piece of white card stock, stamp a shadow box stamp. In each square stamp the hat stamp.
    With an embossing pen color in just the hat part and sprinkle embossing powder, then use heat gun. Use a different color per hat.
    Using embossing pen color just the decoration on the hat and use silver embossing powder, use heat gun.
    Put a narrow line around the whole square with the embossing pen and use silver embossing powder. When dry, cut with decorative scissors.
    Untwist a section of the twisted paper, cut a piece for the hanger and a piece to make a bow.
    Glue vellum paper to card stock—glue hanger piece to vellum—glue bow to hanger piece.
    Add the hat pictures to the hanger by using pop dots in each corner.

    Inside: On white card stock stamp the hat picture and emboss as above. Cut out just the hat part.
    Write message—“My hat is off to you Mom” Use Alphabet stamp to print To Mom Glue the hats at random on the inside around the words. HOME
